Rhode Island police announced that they arrested at least 21 people statewide in the weekend drunk driving crackdown that we noted previously.
The detailed information on the arrestees was published in the Providence Journal, as part of the publicity campaign to prevent and enforce Rhode Island’s drunk driving laws for the rest of the summer.
It would be interesting to note if this number of arrests was comparable to any other weekend without these kind of supposedly intensive patrols, but that information was not released.
