Can I beat a Rhode Island Shoplifting
Charge?
Yes, there are always legitimate defenses in
shoplifting cases, depending on the evidence
against you. I will argue for a dismissal of all
the charges if the store doesn't have absolutely
clear evidence that you stole or intended to
steal the items they claim. We can argue
unintentional concealment where appropriate. Or
we may be able to get the charges dropped or
reduced in return for restitution in some cases.
Call me for a case evaluation and
consultation, and I'll go over your options and
what your best chances are to beat the case.
